Located north of TCF Stadium, the Biomedical Discovery District gives scientists flexible, state-of-the-art space to fight today's health challenges including diabetes, cancer, heart disease, emerging infectious diseases, and brain diseases.
About the district
- The Biomedical Discovery District is a multi-million dollar project funded by a combination of state bonding and private donors.
- When complete, it will provide 700,000 square feet of flexible research space.
- About 200 faculty researchers will lead more than 1,000 others in finding cures, treatments and preventions.
