Mission
To provide a network of veterinary clinical investigators and state-of-the-art facilities; to coordinate research studies and technology development/transfer for sponsors, contract customers, and regulatory agencies; and to foster the welfare of people by contributing to human and animal healthcare.
Services
The Clinical Investigation Center promotes research in the College of Veterinary Medicine by providing support services for research in the Veterinary Medical Center.
Services include:
- veterinary pharmaceutical and device testing and development
- protocol evaluation and finalization
- collaborative analytical laboratory
- data collection and analysis
- complete monitoring of protocol and regulatory adherence
- phase I, II and III human clinical trials via the AHC Research Services Organization
- subject identification and selection
- centralized budgeting and contracting
- streamlined processing and storage of records and compliance documents
- assistance with FDA and other audits
- training of staff for GLP, GCP, GMP studies
